Margit is an experienced and skilled Business Consultant awarded a Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing and a Masters Qualification in Business Administration (MBA) from the Melbourne Business School. She is also a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a Director of Business for the Samburu Trust based in Kenya.

Before starting Uncommon Sense, Margit held Senior and General Management roles at Coca-Cola, Lend Lease, Southcorp Appliances and Southcorp Limited. These roles included running State and National Business Units, Group Corporate Affairs, Retail Marketing and Project Development.

Uncommon Sense Business Consulting has so far advised over 25 companies on their Strategic Growth Plans, resulting in Restructure, Revenue and Profit Growth for those businesses. Core components of Margit’s work include working closely with the CEO, anchoring the Commercial Objectives of the Business, transforming the Business Plan, engaging and inspiring the delivery team and ongoing implementation advice and support.

Margit’s broad spectrum of operational business experience includes Top 50 Public Companies, Private Companies (start-ups and well-established) and NGO’s. She has also privately co-invested in over eight companies in the food and wellness industries and is active in property investment.

Sean is an experienced Business Entrepreneur awarded a Commerce degree from Melbourne University, with majors in Accounting and Law, a Masters Qualification in Business Administration (MBA) from Melbourne Business School, is a Certified Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a Director of Business of the Samburu Trust based in Kenya.

Sean has been actively involved in an Ownership Capacity with Businesses across Healthcare, Property, Retail Food and Food Manufacture and Distribution as CEO, Executive Director or Non-Executive Director. These Businesses have been either Start-Ups or Established and have gone on to become profitable entities that have either been retained or sold. A core focus of Sean’s contribution is to commit to each Business for the long term, bringing deep experience in managing through the full range of business situations and personal circumstances of our operational business partners.

Sean’s expertise is in working with Businesses ‘from the top down’ to maximize the potential of the people and assets and in doing so maximizing the capital value. He is also very experienced at identifying market opportunities and developing and implementing the appropriate Business Model to take advantage of growth. He has been directly involved in establishing and growing successful businesses in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Korea and the Middle East.
